Through BTEC’s partnership with JETS,
we are pleased to be able to offer technology training to you where ever you are!

Our program provides instructor-led training from any location (office, home, etc.) as long as you have access to the Internet through a browser. We provide a synchronous web-based training platform that allows instructors to work in realtime using a presentation whiteboard to put traditional face-to-face content - such as presentations - on every screen simultaneously. Instructors can annotate the whiteboard content to convey concepts, create interactive exercises, ask questions, and debate ideas in an effective environment. To keep students engaged, there is a rich interactive environment that can include two-way audio, video, electronic "hand raises", questions and answers, chat capabilities, a participants list and private messaging. Realtime application sharing lets you experience an application as if it were running on your own system, including every pull-down menu and dialog box.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll get a URL and ID/Password to access the training sessions. You can then login to your class sessions at the scheduled time to participate in instructor-led training. Course materials are shipped to your home or office address.

Participant Hardware Requirements:

• Computer (min. Pentium 166 MHz or faster) with Soundcard and Speakers
• Microphone headset is recommended.
• 64 MB RAM recommended minimum
• Internet access - Cable, DSL, or LAN connection; or 56 kbs Modem (or faster)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or later, or Netscape Navigator 4.x or later
• Javascript and cookies enabled on the Web browser, ActiveX enabled on Internet Explorer
• Preferred screen resolution is 800 x 600 pixels
