What our clients are saying....

“Thanks for everything you have done for us. We have definitely benefited from our two year relationship with you, CCBC, and the WEDnet grant.  Thanks also for introducing us to Rebecca Christeson.  She is positively AWESOME!  Everyone who took her workshop had wonderful things to say about her and the training. “

Here’s hoping we get to work together in the future on some other endeavor.”

Lynn Jessup,Administrative Assistant,Villa St. Joseph
"Setting up an instant computer lab for 12 students with the latest equipment including every detail, such as electrical hookups was as easy as merely picking up the phone to place an order…we only needed to provide a quiet room and add the students. Joyce and Peg were totally organized and confident in their abilities to quickly set up the room with no assistance other than some muscle to bring cases of equipment up a flight of stairs. All the Dell equipment worked flawlessly.

Although most participants in our Access class were at Intro Level, Joyce Evans took time to recognize those who had a higher level of experience and accommodated them without leaving anyone behind; whetting the appetite of beginners for more advanced classes.

All lesson topics were covered in the time allotted without students feeling rushed or confused. Having CCBC provide the training and their portable lab was an excellent experience and opportunity for Sherwood. " Nancy Albanese, HR Generalist, Sherwood - Harsco GasServ

"The customized Cisco router training classes have been very valuable in educating Armstrong Telephone technicians in the basic principles of data networking. CCBC was great to work with. They customized the 3-week course, scheduled the course to best meet our needs, and offered it at an attractive price. Their flexibility allowed us to educate many more people than other education solutions we reviewed. These new skills will now allow Armstrong to offer customers new services, and helped prepare the technical staff for the next-generation of telephone technologies. The CCBC/BTEC training was a real find!" Jim Noel, Armstrong Telephone

"CCBC was very accommodating and flexible when scheduling our training sessions. The training program presented was comprehensive, clear and succinct." King's Jewelry

"Pittsburgh Logistics Systems, Inc. (A Quadrivius Company) continues to enjoy a very beneficial relationship with Sue Dunlap and the Community College of Beaver County’s Workforce Training Division. The WTD has exposed our Company to various grant opportunities available from the State of Pennsylvania that we may not have been aware of without this relationship.  The entire WTD staff has been and continues to be very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the application process from beginning to end.  CCBC has been especially effective in helping our Company to target our training needs, plan our curriculum and identify qualified trainers to deliver the material. Also, the campus facilities were conveniently available and well suited for the variety of classes we elected to present.

Due to our Company’s focus on customer service, it was important that the training schedule is flexible to the needs of our business and it succeeded in meeting this need time and time again. I would encourage all local employers to explore the numerous training opportunities and grant programs available via the Community College of Beaver County’s Workforce Training Division."

"CCBC was instrumental in helping Aquatech International Corp." develop a company-wide training program in microsoft OUTLOOK toward the end of our WEDnet funding two years ago. We knew what we wanted to do BUT did not have the time to organize the training - and precious time was slipping away. With the help of Donna Sallee and several others at CCBC, an excellent program, two half-days, was delivered to small groups of employees over a six-week period at our business site. The instructor was top notch and CCBC even loaned Aquatech some equipment so that employees could apply the newly learned skills with their own electronic calendar and emails on our company network. This training program was an excellent demonstration of the partnership between our company and CCBC"

Vince Senatore
Director of Human Resources
Aquatech International, Washington County

"The folks at Signature Flags had this to say..."The computer classes that our employees attended (Word, Excel, and QuickBooks) helped them to see how various programs can be utilized in their work environment.  The classes were structured to help both beginner and intermediate computer users.  The instructors were well prepared and very knowledgeable about the programs that they were teaching.  We were able to learn a lot in a short period of time.  I would strongly recommend these classes to anyone who uses a computer in the workplace."

"The customized training that Ardex and The W. W. Henry Company received through The Community College of Beaver County has proved to be an invaluable educational tool.  CCBC has partnered with our Company and consulted with instructors at tailoring a diverse array of training programs specific to our growing workforce. This customized training has created a more highly trained, caliber employee."

"Koppel Steel Corporation approached Alex Gladis, Dean of Continuing Education about a training program for their newest maintenance technicians. Alex worked along side his team of experts instructors and a two year maintenance program was created.  This is what Bob Zorrio, Human Resource Manager had to say.

"CCBC provided training to our employees at their facility during evening hours. Our employees were excited about the knowledge they received in their training and feel more secure and confident about their positions. Thank you CCBC for your tremendous help in making this training a true success."

Bob Zorrio,

"CCBC has been a great help to Bolsan Company in acquiring and using the PA WEDnet Grant for training. Our first contact with CCBC was when they informed us about the WEDnet training grant. Donna Sallee has guided us through multiple grants and was instrumental in helping us to remain on schedule with the training and grant use. CCBC has been able to offer solid training options for us, whether it was generic training needs or very specific needs. Many thanks to CCBC and your staff."

Bill Hamilton
Quality Assurance Manager
Bolsan Company - Washington County

"Thank you for making it possible for the AAUD/Weed & Seed Micro-Enterprise Program to offer computer classes to our Aliquippa area target clients in the environment they are comfortable in and which our grant requires. A vital part of what is necessary to the enable small business owners and budding entrepreneurs from the Target Area to achieve financial success by starting, operating, and building successful businesses that develop economic power, provide jobs, and improve the community” would have been lost if the twenty computers were not provided by BTEC for “Computer Tuesdays” .

We see each week people, who do not have the confidence to go on campus nor sometimes the transportation, enter our class space here and leave with skills that improves their chances for success in life and business. Unless you have dealt with the frustration of not being capable of providing what is necessary to accomplish goals for programs/clients it is impossible to appreciate the access to computers for training in our environment to the fullest.
We have finished our first series and Rebecca was a "HIT"!
I am forwarding the evaluations in the mail to you Sue as well as the attendance roster.
Thanks everyone for your assistance.
Rebecca always uses the terminology that something rocks...
Well I think that all of YOU at CCBC - ROCK!
