Welcome to the Police Academy....

Are you considering a career as a police officer?

The Beaver County Municipal Police Training Academy has teamed up with CCBC to provide the vocational skills needed to pursue careers in law enforcement. Students will also receive the 750 hours of training mandated by the Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission in anticipation of employment as a municipal police officer.

Police Technology and Criminal Justice
     Associate in Applied Sciences

State-of-the-Art Training Facility

The Academy is housed at the CCBC Aviation Sciences Center in Chippewa Township. The Golden Dome Gymnasium is utilized for the physical and defense tactics training. The Dome houses a weight room and gym that can be used as an indoor track and training facility as well as a locker room.

The Academy uses the 911 Airbase Range in Independence Township. The range houses a (22) point outdoor combat range. The site is used to serve all local police agencies as well as state and federal agencies.
